GUEST SPEAKER Andrew Collins, CEO of Mailman Media Group
Andrew is the current CEO of Mailman Media Group. A proud Australian, he completed his undergraduate degree in Media / Commerce at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne in addition to completing a year of study at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo.
With 2 successful years within Jack Morton Worldwide, a global communications agency, Andrew sought to make his mark in China with a ‘self starting’ attitude by acquiring what is now his foundation in the alternative media group Mailman Ltd in 2007.
In 2008 Andrew was recognized for his early achievements with a ‘Top 30 Entrepreneur under 30’ by the Australian Anthill magazine and hopes to continue the success with the Mailman team whom he states as the reason behind the recent success.
Within two years, Mailman is now in the business of ‘value driven strategy’ the company has established itself as a leader in growing online communities for clients wishing to build longer term relationships with its customers. And it has been involved with the expansion of the AFL brand in China and ‘selling America’ to students with American Airlines. In 2010, Mailman was runner up for the New Media Telstra Awarde and also the Aus-China Business Awards for Entrepreneurial business.
